Eligibility

Regular Mode

Open to anyone who has completed/cleared 12th grade in any stream, including undergraduates (B.Com, BFM, BAF, etc.), postgraduates (CA, MBA, M.Com, etc.)

Challenge Status

A Post Graduate in Finance with 3 years of relevant experience can opt for giving only 1 exam i.e. Integrated Financial Planning, for acquiring the CFP® certification

Examination

Challenge Status

This pathway requires candidates to develop a financial plan based on a provided case study. Successful evaluation of the plan qualifies them for the CFP® exam, which is also a 3-hour, scenario-based test with 50 multiple-choice questions.

Regular Pathway

Candidates first complete specialist module exams in Investment Planning, Retirement and Tax Planning, and Risk and Estate Planning. These exams are 2-hour, computer-based tests with 75 multiple-choice questions. After passing these exams, candidates must construct a Financial Plan. Upon its approval, they are eligible for the final CFP® exam, which is a 3-hour, scenario-based test with 50 multiple-choice questions.
