CFP Course Fees in India — What Each Module Costs

At House of Financial Planners, the three Specialist modules — Investment Planning Specialist (IPS), Retirement & Tax Planning Specialist (RTPS) and Risk & Estate Planning Specialist (REPS) — are priced at ₹9,999 each (regular price ₹14,999), and the Integrated Financial Planning (IFP) capstone is ₹19,999 (regular price ₹29,999), all for a limited period, plus 18% GST. These are HOFP’s course fees only — FPSB India charges its own separate registration, exam and certification fees, which we link to below rather than restate, since only FPSB can keep that number current.

If you’ve searched “CFP course fees India” and landed here, you’ve probably already seen a wide spread of numbers across different institutes and comparison articles. Part of that spread is genuinely different course formats (covered under “why fees vary” below); part of it is that many pages quietly bundle HOFP’s fee-equivalent (the institute’s teaching fee) together with FPSB India’s own registration and exam fees into one headline number, which makes direct comparisons across institutes unreliable unless you know exactly what’s being counted. This page keeps the two separate throughout.

(GST figures rounded to the nearest rupee.) These are course-fee totals only — FPSB India’s own fees are additional, as covered below.

IPS, RTPS, REPS — ₹9,999 each (regular ₹14,999)

Each Specialist module is priced and sold independently — you don’t have to buy all three together, and you don’t have to buy them in a bundle to get the discounted rate. Each price is a one-time payment covering full access to that module: recorded lectures, applied examples, question banks with answer keys, live doubt-clearing sessions, and tutor support until you clear it. There’s no separate “materials” line item or hidden add-on fee within the module price — what’s on the course page is what you pay.

IFP — ₹19,999 (regular ₹29,999)

The Integrated Financial Planning course costs more than a single Specialist module because it’s the capstone stage — full-length integrated case studies, the complete FPSB study library, and one-on-one tutor support specifically aimed at the Financial Plan Assessment and the CFP® exam that follow it. Because IFP is where the three Specialist subjects come together into whole-client scenarios, it’s also the module with the most one-on-one mentorship built into its price, which is the main reason it costs roughly double a single Specialist module rather than the same amount.

What’s included in HOFP’s price vs. what FPSB charges separately

HOFP’s fee covers the education — lectures, materials, tutor support and mentorship for each module. It does not include FPSB India’s own registration, examination or certification/document-processing fees, which are paid directly to FPSB India and are not disclosed as a fixed public number on their site as of this writing. FPSB India explicitly states its certification/document-processing fees are non-refundable, so budget for them as a genuinely separate line item rather than assuming they’re bundled into any institute’s course fee.

We’re deliberately not quoting a specific FPSB fee number here. Several third-party sites do, but those figures go stale the moment FPSB revises them — the only number worth trusting is whatever is live on FPSB India’s own registration page when you check.

Total cost of the full CFP® path with HOFP

Adding up all four HOFP modules at today’s pricing:

IPSRTPSREPSIFPTotal (before GST)
Current price₹9,999₹9,999₹9,999₹19,999₹49,996
Regular price₹14,999₹14,999₹14,999₹29,999₹74,996

With 18% GST added, the current-price total works out to roughly ₹58,995, and the regular-price total to roughly ₹88,495 — figures we’ve computed directly from the live per-module prices above, not typed in separately, so re-check them against the live course pages if you’re reading this after prices have moved. On top of either figure, add FPSB India’s own registration/exam/certification fees (see above — check FPSB’s current page rather than a number quoted here).

This total is HOFP’s course fee only; it is not the full all-in cost of becoming a CFP® professional, and no honest fee page should claim it is. It also doesn’t cover the annual CPD-linked renewal cost you’ll owe FPSB India once you’re certified — see the FAQ below.

Fee validity and refund policy

HOFP’s own Terms and Conditions set out the fee policy in plain terms: fees paid are not refundable under any circumstances, including a change of residence or discontinuing studies, and fees once paid cannot be transferred to another candidate. Course access is valid for two years from your date of enrolment. The terms also restate the same fee-scope point made above — HOFP’s fee covers training charges only, and does not include board registration, annual subscription, or examination fees charged by FPSB India; those are the student’s responsibility in addition to HOFP’s course fee.

Why fees vary by institute

Search results and AI answers for “CFP course fees India” surface a wide range of numbers from different institutes, and the honest reason is format, not quality: a self-paced, recorded-lecture course with on-demand tutor support (HOFP’s model) has a fundamentally different cost structure than a live classroom batch with fixed faculty hours and a fixed cohort size. Neither is inherently better — they suit different learning styles and schedules. What matters when comparing quotes is checking exactly what’s included: is it per-module or bundled, is tutor support live or ticket-based, is there a validity/expiry window on access, and is the FPSB registration fee shown separately or folded into a headline number.

The one thing every genuine quote should share is transparency about what’s the institute’s fee versus what’s FPSB’s fee — collapsing the two into a single headline number is exactly the kind of thing to be cautious about when comparing quotes across institutes.

It’s also worth separating “fee” from “value” the way you would for any professional course: the cheapest option isn’t automatically the best deal if it leaves you without doubt-clearing support when you’re stuck on a topic, and the most expensive option isn’t automatically the most thorough. What you’re actually paying for — beyond the syllabus itself, which FPSB sets identically for every institute — is the teaching format, the support you get when you’re stuck, and how long your access lasts. Compare quotes on those terms, not on the headline number alone.

Budgeting for the fee across the whole path

Because each of the four modules is priced and sold separately, you don’t have to find the full ₹49,996-plus-GST in one go. A common approach is to pay for one Specialist module at a time — clear IPS, then decide whether to move to RTPS or REPS next, spreading the outlay across however many months your own study pace takes. Since HOFP’s course access doesn’t expire on a fixed batch calendar, there’s no cost penalty for spacing payments out this way; the only fixed dates in the whole process are whichever FPSB India exam windows you choose to sit.

Whichever pace you choose, keep three numbers separate in your own budgeting: HOFP’s module fee (fixed and shown on each course page), GST at 18% on top of that, and FPSB India’s own registration/exam/certification fees (variable, paid directly to FPSB, and best checked on their site right before you register rather than budgeted from a number seen elsewhere).

Frequently asked questions

What are HOFP’s CFP course fees in India?

₹9,999 + 18% GST each for IPS, RTPS and REPS (regular price ₹14,999), and ₹19,999 + 18% GST for IFP (regular price ₹29,999), for a limited period. Each module is priced and paid for separately, so you can enrol module by module rather than paying for the whole path in one go.

What is the total CFP certification cost in India with HOFP?

At current pricing, all four HOFP modules together come to ₹49,996 before GST, or roughly ₹58,995 including 18% GST (₹74,996 before GST, roughly ₹88,495 including GST, at the regular, non-discounted price). This is HOFP’s course fee only — it doesn’t include FPSB India’s separate registration, exam and certification fees, which you pay directly to FPSB.

Are FPSB India’s exam fees included in HOFP’s course price?

No. HOFP’s fee covers education (lectures, materials, tutor support). FPSB India’s registration, examination and certification/document-processing fees are paid directly to FPSB and are separate — check FPSB India’s own registration page for the current amount.

Is the CFP course fee a one-time payment or recurring?

HOFP’s module fees are one-time payments covering full access to that module. Separately, once certified, CFP® professionals pay FPSB India an annual renewal process tied to completing 15 CPD points a year — that’s a certification-maintenance cost, not a course fee. Source: FPSB India.

Why do CFP course fees vary so much between institutes in India?

Mainly format: self-paced recorded courses with on-demand tutor support cost differently than live classroom batches with fixed faculty hours and a fixed cohort size. Always check what’s actually included in a quoted number — per-module vs bundled pricing, live vs ticket-based support, whether access has an expiry, and whether FPSB’s own fees are shown separately or folded into the headline figure.

Do I have to buy all four HOFP modules together?

No. IPS, RTPS, REPS and IFP are each sold and priced independently, so you can enrol in one Specialist module at a time and move to the next when you’re ready.

Does the HOFP course fee include GST?

No — every price shown (₹9,999 for each Specialist module, ₹19,999 for IFP) is exclusive of GST; 18% GST is added on top at checkout.

Is there an EMI or instalment option for the CFP course fee?

Check directly with HOFP’s enrolment team via the contact details on the relevant course page — payment-plan availability can change and isn’t something we’ll state here without it being live on the checkout flow itself.

What’s the cheapest way to start the CFP course with HOFP?

Start with a single Specialist module (₹9,999 + GST) rather than committing to the full path upfront, and use the free demo lecture first to confirm the teaching style suits you before paying anything.

Do CFP course fees ever go back up to the regular price?

HOFP’s current pricing (₹9,999/₹19,999) is described as available “for a limited period” against a stated regular price (₹14,999/₹29,999) — we don’t publish a specific date it changes, since that would be a promise we can’t guarantee; check the live course page for the price shown at the time you enrol.
