Complete Skillset

Two ways into the credential

FPSB India runs two pathways — which one you take depends on where you're starting from.

PathwayWho it's forThe route
Regular Graduates, working professionals, students — no prior credential needed Three Specialist courses (Investment Planning → Retirement & Tax → Risk & Estate), then the Integrated Financial Planning capstone, the Psychology in Financial Planning module, and the final exam & assessment
Fast Track CA, CFA charterholders and other qualifying credentials with experience Straight to the Integrated Financial Planning capstone — the three Specialist stages are waived. Eligibility rules are on the IFP course page

Each Specialist course also awards its own standalone FPSB® Specialist certification along the way — you build credentials while you study, not only at the end.

Frequently asked questions

What is the CFP course?

CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) is the global financial-planning credential awarded through FPSB, recognised in 29 territories with over 2,36,300 professionals worldwide. In India the pathway is run by FPSB India: three Specialist courses, a capstone (Integrated Financial Planning), a Psychology in Financial Planning module, and the final exam and assessment.

Are these CFP classes online or classroom?

Both. The teaching is built on recorded lectures with live doubt-clearing sessions, so students across India study online, and Ahmedabad students also get direct access to the faculty locally — the institute is based in Navrangpura, Ahmedabad.

Who teaches the CFP course at House of Financial Planners?

A practising CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER who runs a live advisory practice, supported by tutors for doubt-clearing. You learn the syllabus the way it is actually used with clients, not just for the exam.

What is the difference between the Regular and Fast Track CFP pathway?

The Regular pathway takes the three Specialist courses (Investment Planning, Retirement & Tax Planning, Risk & Estate Planning) before the capstone. Fast Track lets candidates with a qualifying credential and experience — such as CA, CFA charter or certain postgraduate qualifications — go directly to the capstone stage. Eligibility details are on each course page.

How much does the CFP course cost?

Course fees are listed on each course's own page along with enrolment, and FPSB's own charges (registration, exams, certification) are separate. Use the CFP Program Cost Calculator on our homepage for a complete personalised figure.

Is there a free demo before enrolling?

Yes — a free demo course with real recorded lectures, so you can judge the teaching before paying anything.
